Dr. Vance Ankrum

Dr. Vance Ankrum joined Dakota Vision Center in 1994. Originally from Highmore, South Dakota, Dr. Ankrum attended Colorado State University and South Dakota State University. After obtaining his Doctorate of Optometry degree from Pacific University, he returned to Sioux Falls, SD to begin practicing optometry. In addition to providing his patients with comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations, Dr. Ankrum has a special interest in ocular disease detection and treatment.

A member of the South Dakota Optometric Society and the American Optometric Society, Dr. Ankrum enjoys keeping abreast of the current events surrounding health care issues as they relate to optometry.

Dr. Ankrum enjoys attending his two daughters' activities and events, tending to his lawn and spending time with his family in his free time.
