Dr. Joel Quist

Dr. Joel Quist joined Dakota Vision Center in 2016. Dr. Quist practices primary care optometry with a special interest in custom contact lens fittings and ocular disease management. Prior to his work at Dakota Vision Center, he practiced for five years in the Omaha, Nebraska area.

Dr. Quist received a Biology degree from Augustana University and achieved his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. After graduating, he was awarded Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO).

As a member of the South Dakota Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Quist is committed to the professional obligation of lifelong learning. By staying current on the latest eye-related research, he is dedicated to enhancing patient care and constantly strives for the highest professional standards.

When he is out of the office, Dr. Quist enjoys spending time with his family, biking, and traveling.
